To mark the 35th anniversary of World Tourism Day, Sehrai Travels –  a private company in collaboration with Pakistan Railway arranged a train ride to historic Attock Khurd station on September 27, 2015. Sehrai Travels is the oldest travel agency in Peshawar. They used to operate the famous Khyber Steam Safari and at its peak they were running two trains a week between Peshawar and Landi Kotal. At present they do operate occasional tourist trains between Peshawar and Attock Khurd. The trains are diesel powered and the tours are believed to be  arranged on-demand. About two or three tourist trains run between Peshawar and Attock Khurd every year , as they have done for the past 3 or 4 years.
This particular trip started from Peshawar Cantt station and took the tourists to Atttock Khurd station which is very famous for its Victorian architecture.
