Network Rail is inviting residents to find out more about improvements to Hebden Bridge railway station as part of the Great North Rail Project.

Network Rail is carrying out a series of improvements to Hebden Bridge railway station, including upgrades to track and signalling and a platform extension, as well as work which will improve passenger experience at the station, such as an extension to the car park and the installation of lifts on platforms one and two, which will offer improved access.

For anyone wishing to find out more about the improvements, Network Rail is holding a public drop in event on Monday, 11 June between 15:45 – 18:15 at Hebden Bridge Town Hall to allow those living in the area to find out more about the work, with Network Rail representatives on hand to answer any questions.

Anyone who can’t make the event but wants to learn more can call the Network Rail National Helpline on 03457 11 41 41 or visit /www.networkrail.co.uk/our-railway-upgrade-plan/key-projects/transpennine-route-upgrade/calder-valley/hebden-bridge-station-improvements/
