WeWork and German Bahn AG test temporary design jobs for travelers in the heart of Europe’s most modern crossing station
Until July 14 invite WeWork and the German Bahn AG in a newly created pop-up workspace in Berlin Central Station one for working and networking with other travelers. Commuters, travelers and station visitors can work on a total of ten seats and desk in a sofa area, use the specially set up high-speed Internet and come to like-minded people over a coffee in touch. Thus, the residence time can be optimally used at the Berlin Hauptbahnhof.

“We want to continue to improve the quality of stay at our stations. It is important to try new ways to meet the needs of our travelers and station visitors. We are excited to see how our customers receive the coworking pop up, “said Bernd Koch, CEO of DB Station & Service AG.

The flexible pop-up work area is located in the middle of the ground floor in Berlin’s main train station and is open daily from 9 to 19 o’clock. Coffee and tea are available to users free of charge. Contact of WeWork and DB are available for questions on the spot.

The workspace is a joint project of WeWork and the DB program Smart Cities. Mobility and logistics of the future are intelligently networked and energy efficient. DB has recognized the potential and drives the Smart City development ahead with a specially prepared team. The focus is on issues stations, new business models for mobility and logistics and information platform for cities face.
