Work on the project preparation for the construction of high-speed connections from Prague to Dresden intensively continuing. Preparation of the feasibility study is currently in the second stage. During today’s meeting in Dresden, it was said at a meeting between the Czech transport minister Dan Tok and his Saxon counterpart Martin Duligem. The ministers also suggested solutions railroad connection between Rumburk and Seifhennersdorf.
“The new high-speed line in Dresden is a priority connection, after its completion will shorten the journey from Prague to Dresden for an hour and simultaneously divert traffic from congested long route along the Elbe,” says Minister of Transport . Another topic of the meeting was also road connections between Lobendava and Neustadt, the construction of which has long been interested in both Saxony and the Usti Region.
