From March 21 to 24 hold long-distance trains at the fairground • “bookworm” brings visitors from Dresden to the fair

During the Leipzig Book Fair selected ICE / IC trains stop directly at the Leipziger Messe station. As long-distance travelers from Munich / Nuremberg / Stuttgart / Wiesbaden / Frankfurt am Main / Erfurt, Hamburg / Berlin, Bremen / Hannover / Magdeburg and Dresden can easily reach the Leipzig Book Fair in a direct way. Also strengthened an additional ICE morning from Berlin to Leipzig’s exhibition station or late afternoon return to the existing ICE-hour between Berlin and Leipzig during the book fair. The ICE will start at 8:27 in Berlin main station. And reached Leipzig Messe at 9.50 am. The return leaves at 17:36 and 17:41 from Leipzig Messe Berlin main station.

With the special train “bookworm” is on 23 and 24 March a direct connection with a Regional Express from Dresden to Leipzig Trade Fair. The departure takes place in Dresden Hauptbahnhof at 7:57 with stops at Dresden Mitte, Dresden-Neustadt, Coswig (Dresden), Priestewitz, Riesa, Oschatz and Wurzen. Arrival in Leipzig Mass at 9:36. To 18:21 the “bookworm” returns to Dresden main station. (At 19:50), with the same holding as on the outward journey. In these terms the offers of transport apply.

The breakpoint Leipzig Messe is close clock with the S-Bahn lines S2 Wittenberg / Dessau-Leipzig Messe Leipzig Central Station. (Deep) -Leipzig-Stötteritz, S5 / S5x Hall Hbf.-Leipzig / Halle-Leipzig trade fair Leipzig central station. (deep) -Altenburg-Zwickau Hbf., S6 Geithain-Borna-Leipzig Central Station. (deep) -Leipzig fair and the Regional Express (RE) 13 Magdeburg-Dessau-Leipzig Messe Leipzig central station to achieve.. In Leipzig Train consist City Tunnel favorable transfers to the other suburban trains and overground trains to the rest of the national and city transport. The drive from the airport Leipzig / Halle and Leipzig Train Station to Leipzig Fair is about 7 minutes. Between Halle (Saale) and the exhibition station take the S-Bahn trains every half hour and 18 minutes go.
